The first in a drama-drenched new series of street lit novels set in the Atlanta housing projects, Desperate Hoodwives chronicles four young women desperately trying to get out of the hood. Aisha's rich and she loves her man, but then he's landed in jail. Davani plots to get pregnant to keep her man. Molly's blind to her man's adultery, but something's got to give. Lexi has five children by four dead-beat men. Her new husband is perfect - except for the sex, and he's hiding a terrible secret. The women of Bentley Manor know the true meaning of desperation!

This book is so deep, a great read. Did not expect it to end so dramatically but that added to the suspense and drama. I really enjoyed reading this book... and would recomend anyone to but it, its worth the money.
