So this was the book that popped my paranormal cherry! I trusted Julie to gently ease me into this genre as i have read her Southern Roots series and loved them!I really wasn't sure what to expect when i started reading, i have put off and put off reading paranormal and when i started reading i think this probably hindered my reading experience. I can tell you this book is a slow burn. It builds and builds and before you realise what is happening you're drawn in and not really sure why! I still wasn't sure until i got to about 70% through the book and BAM OMG there was a part, i won't give spoilers but i had a WTF moment and i actually felt as though it was me in the story i was shaking and bit panicky and i stopped reading and thought WOW where did that come from! This story is based around three main characters. Lisa the career girl who is all about work and making her way up the ladder in PR she finds herself doing not much more than work and not really thinking about any kind of relationship. Then we have Samuel the very handsome very sexy CEO of Lisa's place of work. She finds herself drawn to him and not really knowing why although she doesn't want to cross that line with her boss. Then finally we have Alex, Alex appears in Lisa's life at just the right time, he is gorgeous, sweet and romantic which is just what Lisa needs. I loved all characters to be honest there is something about all of them that you'll like whether they're good or bad. There are also some steamy scenes which leave you wanting more and some scary scenes that left me nervous to go into the bathroom alone! (when you read it you'll know why!)Overall i would recommend this book to paranormal veterans and newbies like me! Fab book i just one clicked the second in the series Redemption!

This novel had me on the fence. I loved the plot, girl signs away her soul, demon & Angel fight for her soul. BUT - the stuttering of the writing style really put me off, it consisted of short sentence after short sentence, it just didn't flow. Too much attention was paid to cram in designer names whom I had never heard of. The first 1/3 was hard to read, 2/3 I skimmed through, 3/3 I got interested again.

This is the first Paranormal Romance I have read and reviewed. It was defiantly an eye opener to something that I never thought I would enjoy. I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable this book was. I have to admit as this is not something I have read before. I was slightly confused at a points in the story, being out of familiar territory, but with the help of the author, Julie Morgan, she explained what the Incubus was. It helped me have understanding what the demons in the story were doing and looking for.The Characters in this story have solid foundations, are extremely interesting and intricate. Lisa does the ultimate mistake by signing something without first reading her agreement; she is gentle but is a huge go getter in the world of business. Alex, now where to start with Alex someone whom is supposed to be clinical, a protector, however you can never stop human emotion, he battles with his emotions and what they signify for him. He will fight for Lisa and give everything to save her but Samuel will not go down without a fight. To read the full version of my review stop by at my blog:[...]

I devoured this book in one evening, it was really good, the author didn't give lots away, little hints here and there but kept you wondering were it was going to go.Lisa gets her dream job working a for a rather tasty looking boss, her career then takes off as she excells in her work. When she starts having strange turns she wonders what's happening. Enter Alex some eye candy with a scrummy personality. I loved there relationship, they have a lighthearted way of being together, but of course life doesn't run that smooth and we eventually get to the truth and then the story really picks up pace and you get an adventure. There was something different about this book than most PNR books, I can't put my finger on it, maybe it's because things developed at a slower pace and drew you in, maybe it was the storyline I'm not sure but I know I really enjoyed this book and am awarding it 4.5 vampy and racey stars.I've also heard that there's to be a book 2, well that's on my wishlist already.**In received this book from the author for an honest review**

i really enjoyed the story line, its a great book. the reason why i gave a 3 stars was because you give too much detail of stuff you dont need detail on, i dont need to know the girls building has a plant pot next to the front entrance door and painting all over the walls and the grass is green, well if its wasnt green then thats something you write about lol but personally i like to use my imagination, thats why i read, it might be something to think about when writing. thank you.

I love stories about Angels & Demond's so this is my kind of book. I do love the characters in it, there interesting & I loved the whole story line, it's dark & mysterious. The reason for the 4 star is I found it jumped around a bit & I got lost in a few places & had to reread bits, there is also lots of repeated words in the same sentence or paragraphs, but that could just be me.Apart from that I really enjoyed it & can't wait to read the next one.
