But when Molly leaves England's grey skies behind to start a new life at the University of Alabama, she finds that she has a lot to learn – she didn't know a summer could be so hot, she didn't know students could be so intimidating and she certainly didn't know just how much the folks of Alabama love their football. When a chance encounter with notorious star quarterback, Romeo Prince, leaves her unable to think of anything but his chocolate-brown eyes, dirty-blond hair and perfect physique, Molly soon realises that her quiet, solitary life is about to dramatically change forever ...

Meet Molly Shakespeare. She knows Descartes, she knows academia and Oxford. What she doesn't know is why Romeo Prince leaves her unable to think of anything but his dirty-blond hair and perfect physique ...

Sweet Home was my first read by Tillie Cole under the genre of mature new adult. The cover alone for this book caught my attention and after racing to read the blurb I was sold and one clicked straight away. I'm a sucker for sweet romance and Tillie Cole delivers this in spades in the form of Molly and Rome, two beautiful souls fighting for acceptance and love as their paths cross and fight to remain a couple. Molly Shakespeare is not only beautiful but she has the brains and glasses to back it up with, whilst Rome Prince is the ultimate swoon worthy alpha male sports package. Molly's pursuit for her PhD leads her accompanying professor Ross to the University of Alabama, whilst having just met the mean girls she is rescued by Rome the notorious quarterback who finds himself shaken by her presence, and the romance written in the stars comes alive for this Romeo and Juliette. This book is a must read for those looking for a sweet, passionate and emotional love story, strong leads, a tight band of friends who make up for family, a cocky, sexy, bad ass alpha male who loves his girl with all his heart and will invade your dreams long after finishing this book, in hopes to see your own Rome climbing your balcony as his sweet words and kisses replay the need to keep coming back for re-reads.

I didn't think I would enjoy this - I actually read Sweet Fall first and then decided I have to read this so it was backward - but I am glad to say not only did I enjoy it but I loved it.It was more than a typical college romance and though the one sided POV drove me a bit crazy ( I love dual POV to get the best out of a story) reading Rome's book did give me that edge. The trope of the geek and the sporty guy was very well done and then taken up a notch, their romance at times was bit over the top but given their upbringing and personal story it was believable.

I cannot tell you how much I loved this book, I was pulled into the story to the extent that I felt as though I had been on the same life journey as Molly and Romeo!I also loved the association with the uk, and I usually don’t even though I live there! Most authors miss the mark for me when trying to incorporate things about England into a book, but for me Sweet Home felt authentic, Tille hit the nail on the head. The emotions your body will go through while reading Sweet home is amazing, you will cover them all from deep sadness, pure emotion, trauma and absolute elation. You smile and then the next thing you know your crying. The main characters Molly and Romeo are just wonderful to read about and there story is truly believable, and the story quickly draws you into the close friendships of the characters.I absolutely loved Molly’s friends and Cas was a hoot! Her and Jimmie-Don should get a book.Romeo was so sweet but also very sexy alpha, he had it all and I cannot wait to start reading Sweet Rome to get the story from Romeo’s POV. My heart physically hurt for Romeo at any interaction with his parents, how can people be so vile!, so to get his side of the story is going to be emotional I think.I really thought the combo of gorgeous football hero with anger issues, and a feisty geek chic heroine, with NHS glasses worked so well, Tillie Cole really pulled off this wonderful story that is a must read.I’m a real sucker for Romeo and Juliet so all the references and quotes through out this story had me loving it even more! This whole book had me smiling and sighing with joy at the end, I’m totally gushing about this book I know, but it just that good!

Sweet, mother of all that is holy! Is it me or is it hot in here?!Well! Tillie, you sure know how to write an alpha male that's for sure!Loved Romeo from the beginning! You understood his needs and his attitude towards Molly and the outside world. And your heart bloody breaks for him along the way. Dear me, I had palpitations!!It doesn't hurt that he's H-O-T either. Nor that he's a superstar Football player. *fans self*I adored their story and felt so sad for Molly upon reading her back story and discovering why she is the way she is or how she is the way she is.The story has a lovely flow to it and we see more and more insight into the hard life Romeo has endured and is still dealing with. You see him lose control continuously but reclaims it with Molly's help. His Mol. His life. His reason for breathing.Molly's story is different but I was no less affected by it. I wanted to reach into my kindle and give her a hug. I wanted to be her family. But she made her own family. In Rome. And their friends.Such a heart warming ending and one that was much needed after the all of the twists and turns in the story that wrenched my heart and made me gasp for breath! Another book devoured and another series I NEED to continue to read!Thank you, Tillie, for another wonderful piece of work!

I really enjoyed this book, it was emotional, intense and the characters felt real. It was so sad to read Rome's sad family life and Molly's tragic life but it it was a lovely story how they found each other to survive and get through life. However, I do prefer books without the graphic sexual content and domination. Personally I felt it didn't depict a real healthy sexual relationship and the story would have been much better with less graphic detail in it. I have given this book five stars because of the lovely tragic storyline not for the sexual content which to be quite honest got on my nerves. Highly recommended for over 18 yrs due to the sexual content ..........

Clearly, I am a fool. How did I not know about this incredible author and series? This is me being late to the party, but nonetheless the writing is great. The story emotionally fulfilling, really packs a punch. Needless to say, I've found my way to purchasing the entire series. If like me, you don't know Tillie Cole, I urge you to catch up asap!
